“Um… sorry,” Adam asked, more than really apologized. He sensed there was something going on between Zack, Tommy, Jason, and the two women, and that they were probably bad news, but he couldn’t really figure out what was going on.
“Sorry is not good enough!” the first one jeered, pulling a broom out. Tommy would have jumped out of the pool and ran for his life if he didn’t think he’d had enough embarrassment for one day.
“Wow! Back off lady,” Kim yelled, getting between the two hotel maids and the guys. “We said we were sorry, and we’ll keep it down. Just put the weapon away and no one gets hurt.” She was glaring at them with a fierce look in her eyes.
The two women just glared back, and the second one pulled out her own broom.“Somewhere good,” Conner insisted.
“Seafood?” Billy suggested hopefully.
“No,” Tommy said emphatically. They turned to look at him. “Sorry. Recent falling out with calamari.”
“Why don’t we go somewhere with more variety?” Trini said. “I’m sure we’ll all want something different.”
Trini was right; they spent a good long while discussing where they should go and twenty minutes later had tentatively agreed on a place and were heading out the door.“Billy, please tell me you’ve got the equivalent to a can of Raid coming our way.” Carri called over her communicator. She’d been stung about ten times and was beginning to see little yellow lights blinking in front of her eyes. “I don’t feel so good guys.” She said, knees bucking a little. Rocky was by her side in seconds and held her up before she could fall down.
“I’m taking her back to the Command Center.” He called and transported them both out.
“I’m in the same boat.” Kim called, moving toward Jason and Tommy. She linked her arm with Jason’s and leaned against him. “My eyesight’s cutting out.”
“Back to the Command Center.” Tommy called, and the three transported off the scene.
